They say you never get these days back.

“Everyday is fleetin’”

“Save it while you can”

Last Saturday Lil and I took a trip from Dayton (Andrew’s graduation) to Zack Bryan in Cleveland.

Sometimes you don’t know how much you need to stop time at that moment and save all the memories.

The smile on Lil’s face was the best Mother’s Day gift ever, and singing at the top of our lungs was the icing on the cake.

You might just want to savor every bite this week before it’s all gone.

Andrew I watched all 4 of our kids smile and in awe, as they called,

“Dr. Andrew Theado”.

Today you proved anything is possible and everyday counts.

No matter how many tests you had or papers to write, we still came first. Running a school, coaching 2 baseball teams, cheering all 4 kids from the sidelines, or shredding cabbage at midnight for my cooking business.

You ALWAYS SHOWED UP

You have a gift of touching lives and making everyone feel seen.

After almost 12 years-and a couple extensions due to leading a school through COVID and building a new high school-he has officially passed as “Dr. Theado!”

We are often asked, “How do you do it all?”

The answer is simple-we would have missed it.

We would have missed the opportunity to teach our kids what perseverance looks like, and show them asking for help isn’t a weakness.

We would have missed showing them teamwork always beats doing it alone.

We would have missed teaching our kids showing up is the most important thing you can do. Even after being principal by day, student by night in Dayton, all while driving home late to do it all again the next day and cheer you on from the sidelines! Kids and Students.

If you see him soon do not miss out on giving him a high five, afteralll, he always showed up!

I remember we tried to stand and take the photo and Rocco wanted to run everywhere.
Eventually, we figured out sitting was a better option and grabbing them all with a grip lock would work better.
