CHOCOLATE creamed honey will be the featured flavor at Saturday's Granville Farmer's Market. What do you do with chocolate creamed honey? Great question! Use it to sweeten coffee, add it to peanut butter sandwiches, or use as a dip with locally grown strawberries. Chocolate creamed honey is a great base for making homemade protein balls.
We will also be sampling ORANGE creamed honey.
Plus, we will have mini jars available in hot & savory flavors this week - just in time for Father's Day. Buy 4 jars, get a free gift bag.

Public service announcement! We are set up and ready for market today, though you will find us in a slightly different spot (a stone's throw from our normal spot).
The rain has given the market a new water feature today. No life guard on duty. 😃

Fyi the Granville Farmer's Market has closed for the rest of the morning due to severe storms.
It's the first time we've ever experienced hail at a market. We are headed home & will need to do a lot of drying out. See you all back at the market next week.

🍓 STRAWBERRY creamed honey is back & will be the featured creamed honey at Saturday's Granville Farmer's Market.
Fun fact... did you know Newark is not the only town to have a strawberry festival? Years ago, Leah's family lived in Payne, Ohio (northwest part of the state) where they also had a strawberry festival. Here's Leah along with her 2 sisters when they won recognition for their little float in the parade.

We totally understand that using a credit card is super convenient. Yet, like so many other things these days, processing fees have increased. Starting at the outdoor market in May, a 3% processing fee will be applied to all credit card payments.
Don't like paying fees? Who does! Avoid the fee by paying with cash if you prefer.
The good news is you will find that our honey prices are still the same as they were last season. Thanks for supporting local beekeeping!
