🌱🧄It’s been all about heirloom garlic these past few weeks…harvesting, curing, and now trimming and peeling each bulb.
This heirloom hard neck garlic was grown for over 40 years by a family friend and I have grown it for the past 7 years organically. It’s planted early in November and harvested early July each year. Sometimes I miss a scape and it drops its seed growing bulbs in a natural circle, it’s amazing how naturally it propagates itself if you don’t intervene! Yes the cloves may be smaller but they are just as tasty.
Most of this garlic harvest is already sold but please reach out if you’re interested in buying a few bulbs to grow your own this year, I’d love to teach you how easily you can grow your own. Each clove planted in the fall is a new larger bulb to be harvested in the Summer, and it tastes so much better than what you’ll buy in the store.
We will be taking preorders for the limited stock we have available through 7/31 so reach out soon if you’re interested!🧄🌱
