'Twas the night before mixing, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring... not even... well... the starter was rising.
Tomorrow, the bowls come out, the flour starts flying, and the bakery comes back to life.
First, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who reached out to check on me after my back injury. Your messages, prayers, and well wishes truly meant so much. I was able to get in this past Saturday, get some medication, and I'm happy to say I'm doing much better and on the mend. I'm excited to be getting back to doing what I love this week!
This month, we're changing things up a little. Instead of themed weeks, I'm going to be baking whatever Grace has been yearning to make. That means you can expect a fun mix of new ideas, old favorites, and a few creations that have been living rent-free in my head for way too long.
This month is going to be all about baking the things that have inspired me, the recipes I've been dreaming about, and maybe even a few surprises along the way. You never know what might come out of the oven next, so be sure to keep an eye on the menu each week.
Thank you all for your patience, your encouragement, and for supporting my little bakery. I'm feeling so much better, and I'm beyond excited to get back in the kitchen and bake for all of you this weekend. ❤️

Well, this isn't the update I was hoping to share.
Unfortunately, we won't be at the Nashville Farmers Market tomorrow. I pulled a muscle in my back earlier this week and it's still keeping me down. To top it off, we're currently under a boil advisory with little to no water, so baking has come to a standstill.
The good news is we still have a few items available at the Farmstand if you're hoping to grab some sourdough this weekend. Thank you all for your understanding, and I can't wait to be back at the Nashville Farmers Market as soon as I'm able!
