Planning a greenhouse upgrade before year-end? Don’t leave rebate dollars on the table.

Many rebate and incentive programs are approaching their year-end deadlines, making now the time to check what funding may be available for energy screens, airflow systems, lighting, and other efficiency upgrades.

Already completed a project this year? It may still be worth checking whether your investment qualifies, depending on the program’s requirements and timing.

In our rebates guides, you’ll find key details such as deadlines, product eligibility, funding amounts, and more. Find the guide for your region here: https://bit.ly/4B53xmv

On the 19th of September, Svensson joined the Serkonder member dinner, held at the Marmara Hotel in Antalya. We thank Serkonder for inviting us and giving us the opportunity to share our story in Türkiye about climate technology and sustainable greenhouse growing.

This story started in 1987 when our first screen sales in Türkiye took place. From that moment on, we continued to strengthen our position, supporting growers with high quality climate screens for both energy saving and climate control.

Today, that commitment remains stronger than ever. As the people by your side, we work closely with growers to help them create the right growing conditions and achieve the best possible results. Our promise, "We can make your climate work," reflects our dedication to turning climate challenges into opportunities through knowledge, innovation, and partnership.

With the recent addition of Asiyan Baran to our team, we are further strengthening our local presence in the Turkish market. Together with the professional approach of Serkonder, we look forward to serving growers across Türkiye, contributing to the continued professionalization of the sector, and helping them build successful and sustainable businesses for the future.

From 1 greenhouse to about 40 hectares of summer screen ☀️🍅

Warm, sunny summers increasingly present growers with the same challenge: how do you keep the crop in balance and prevent growth and quality problems? At Lansgroep, they have been using the Harmony 2315 O FR, a movable summer screen, since 2021. What started as a solution for one greenhouse has now expanded to about 40 hectares of illuminated cultivation.

Curious about Lans' experiences and how they use the summer screen throughout the year? Vincent van der Lans, director of cultivation and energy, shares it with us. Read the full story on our website: https://bit.ly/4xZYce3

Planning an LED installation? 📋

The most successful LED transitions start before installation. As greenhouse lighting changes, so does the climate. Taking time to evaluate how your greenhouse will respond to shifts in heat, airflow, and moisture can make all the difference to long-term performance.

Our LED Transition Checklist for Climate helps growers identify key climate considerations before LEDs go in, helping create a stronger foundation for crop success from day one.

Last week, we joined growers and industry partners in Saint-Hyacinthe for the ACT Quebec Grower Summit, a day focused on strategies for building more resilient greenhouse operations.

From light management to vertical airflow strategies, Svensson's sessions explored ways growers can create more resilient and effective greenhouse climates, led by Pieter Mol and Paul Arena.

Thank you to everyone who joined the discussions, shared their experiences, and helped make the event a success. We always leave inspired by the innovation, curiosity, and collaboration within our grower community.

🫑 Beyond shading, what role can a climate screen play inside the greenhouse?

After 24 years of growing peppers in Mexico and the United States, Carlos Borja, Head Grower at Cimarrón, believes that a climate screen is much more than a tool for creating shade.

For Carlos, its value lies in its ability to respond to changing radiation, temperature, and humidity conditions throughout the production cycle, helping him adapt his climate strategy according to the needs of each variety and the crop itself.

"You can definitely grow a crop without screens, but they are a very easy-to-use tool for achieving a higher-quality crop."

In our latest case study, Carlos shares how he uses the Harmony 3015 O screen to support decision-making inside the greenhouse and create more stable conditions for the crop. Read Cimarrón’s full story: https://bit.ly/4yAJ1Ic

You can see the difference immediately 💧

At first glance, Luxous 1147 FR and Luxous 1147 H2no FR are very similar. However, in practice you see an important difference as soon as condensation occurs.

With a standard screen, small water droplets form. Luxous 1147 H2no FR allows those droplets to flow into a thin, transparent film of water.

The result? More light at times when condensation occurs. Up to 8% extra light transmission compared to a traditional screen under the same conditions.

More light means more opportunities to screen longer and at the same time make optimal use of the available daylight.

Discover how Luxous H2No helps support brighter conditions, even when condensation forms: https://bit.ly/4zzVNIs
