Started off June Dairy Month by refilling the cooling ponds, and letting groups of cows in the water after a complete clean out last week.
This concrete bottom pond allows the cows to submerge in the water to soak their bodies, and allow an evaporating cooling effect on them as cows are not able to sweat. This allows our pasture based herd to maintain milk production through the summer months that would be lost otherwise due to heat stress!!!

Completed another trailer refurbish last week on our 2002 Temples 32’ trailer. Welded on new jacks, and a full hitch coupler; did a completed strip, prime and repaint with Ford D1 paint (2023-2024 King Ranch stone grey metallic) to match our cattle trailer, and last years trailer refurbish. Put in all new lights, DOT tape, pin-striping, and a new floor. Will add a before picture in the comments.
