If you wouldn’t eat it, why put it on your skin?
I made this tallow balm using pasture-raised, grass-fed beef tallow and infused it with cedarwood, lavender, eucalyptus, citronella, lemongrass, and peppermint essential oils.
Tallow has been used for generations as a natural skin moisturizer, and when combined with these oils, it creates a balm that offers a wide range of benefits for the skin. Many people use ingredients like these to help soothe dry skin, nourish the skin barrier, and provide a fresh, natural scent. The blend also works well as a natural outdoor companion, as several of these oils are commonly used to help deter insects.
One of the things I appreciate most is knowing exactly what is in it. Your skin is the largest organ in your body, and it absorbs much of what comes into contact with it. Because of that, I prefer using simple, natural ingredients that I recognize and trust. If I wouldn’t feel comfortable putting an ingredient in my body, I question whether I want to put it on my skin.
This balm contains no synthetic fragrances, artificial preservatives, or harsh chemicals—just pasture-raised, grass-fed tallow and a carefully selected blend of natural oils. Every ingredient comes from natural sources, and all of the ingredients are technically edible.
I believe skin care doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes the best solutions are the simplest ones. A little of this balm goes a long way, making it a versatile addition to your daily skin care routine. Whether you’re looking for a natural moisturizer, a skin-nourishing balm, or a simple product made from ingredients you can recognize and trust, this is one I’m proud to make and use myself.
