The chickens have perfectly nice nesting boxes, and I've fixed the door on this feed bin about a thousand times. But these feral little dinosaurs do what they want, and apparently what they want is to lay eggs in Doc's grain. 🥴

I wouldn't even care, except his feed is some of the most expensive on the farm, and I REALLY don't want it getting contaminated! 🤦‍♀️🐔🥚

It's that time of year when I go outside every few hours just to check on the garden and see how my baby plants are doing. 💚

Once the real work of gardening starts, I don't spend nearly as much time just sitting and staring. Fresh veggies are, of course, the goal, but this stage might be my favorite. I love quietly watching new life pop up from the ground. 🌱

What's your favorite part of gardening? And do you know what these seedlings are? 👀
