This Weekend at the farmstand we are doing a SCAVENGER HUNT inside the red shed. Because it is difficult to notice everything we have in there, checking off items on the list will help you see things you might otherwise have missed. Once you've finished the checklist put your name and phone # on it and put it in the payment box. At the end of the weekend I will draw a name to win a

$10 GIFT CERTIFICATE

to spend on items in the Red Shed. No purchase necessary to participate. One entry per person.

This is the last weekend we will be offering Strawberry Starts. I have only about 30 plants left.

It amazes me as I see repeat customers come to the Farmstand. No matter how many times they come they will always notice, for the first time, something that has been there the past 3 times they visited. I get it, there is a lot to take in. So just for fun and to help you notice more things I have come up with this little Scavenger Hunt Checklist. Come by this weekend, the 16th - 18th of October and check off the items. This will apply only to items in the Red Shed. After you have found all the Items, put your name and phone number on it and place it in the payment box. At the end of the weekend I will draw one from the stack and that person will receive a $10 gift certificate to spend on Items in the red shed. HAPPY SCAVENGING!

It is Saturday at the farmstand.
There are lots of great things if you need a gift or flowers for a friend. We also have fresh bread today along with Bages of Apples, Apple Scones, Chocolate Chip Banana Bread, dairy free Chocolate Chip Cookies.
I will offer strawberry starts this weekend and next. NOW is the time to plant them so their roots establish well through the winter to produce a great harvest come spring. We are at the 4 corners of Ross Inlet and Old Wagon Rd in Coos Bay. Open Fri-Sun from 10 to 7.

The farmstand is still going full force. The end of the season tomatoes are there. Bouquets still beautiful.

Homemade Cranberry Scones today at the farmstand. I am enjoying this taste of fall with my coffee in my Sunflower mug. It is a welcoming of the new season and a farewell to the past season. The sunflowers remind me of the bounty of flowers that is almost over. But there are still bouquets at the farmstand while I still have flowers to make them.

Farmstand is OPEN
It has been revamped and restocked. I removed the rug to prep for winter traffic. Instead I spent the past few days painting a rug on the floor. It is well stocked with lots of pottery and as much produce and flowers that I can get out there. We are on the 4 corners of Ross Inlet and Old Wagon Rd in Coos Bay. Open Fri-Sun 10 to 7.

My Strawberry plants were outstanding producers this summer. You probably bought some of the strawberries at the farmstand this year. These tasty berries have been consumed and now they are producing runners which I put in starter pots while they are still attached to the mother plant. Once the roots are established, I cut them free from the mother plant. NOW is the time to plant them for your own fresh strawberries this comming spring. I have them available at the Farmstand for $2.50 each or 3 for $5. I will keep potting them up and making them available to you.

Fall is definately in the air. That means flower season will be coming to an end soon. My guess is that I have about 3 more weekends to be putting fresh bouquets at the farmstand. I hope I am wrong and they keep on blooming. But, if you are like me you want to have those fresh bouquets inside reminding you of the bounty and beauty of past summer days. Grab your bouquets today at the Farmstand. I have one more day out at the Mahaffy Ranch selling pottery at The Sunflower Festival. After visiting the Farmstand, come on out to Mahaffys. It is the opening weekend of the pumpkin patch. You can also do the Allageny Farmstand Loop. Hit GKO Ranch Just a few miles before Mahaffys. They have lots of fresh produce. Then, just a few miles past Mahaffys is Whimsey Creek Farmstand. It is a super cute stand with lots of unique products. All of this adds up to a wonderful day of seeing, smelling and tasting the last bits of summer. ENJOY!
