Warm up this weekend with a free tea tasting of my new Spiced Coastal Berry caffeine free tea made with locally grown cranberries!

You'll have two opportunities both at Past to Present Emporium LLC: tonight during the wine walk from 5pm - 7pm or tomorrow from 11am - 2pm.

This blend, my home-grown Chamomile, and my Herbal Tea Kits are available at these events and at between events.

I made this blend starting with local cranberries and adding the right blend of cinnamon and cloves to make it a comfortable, warming blend. Great to sip while sitting around the fire or to take with you as you brave the elements.

With sadness I share with you the heartbreaking news that yesterday I found all 8 of my girls had been murdered in their sleep from raccoons. This is the first time in 7 years I have no hens and if you know me you know that hens are my happy place.
Don't know what I'll do but it will be next year before I consider falling in love with a new coop group.
RIP Bette, Brookie, Sylvia, Starla, Lily, Layla, Roselle, and Peaches. 💔😭

I found a pile of feathers where my last hen was living. Apparently raccoons took her from inside the coop! 💔
Now I have to figure out a new plan for 8 chicks that are nearly ready to move outside!
Farming = daily problem solving and there's equal parts heartache and joy sometimes.

Look what I got last week. One week old baby chicks! 🐥♥️
My happy place includes chickens, so when 2 of my 3 girls got picked off by hawks while free ranging, I was heartbroken. Down to one hen, what's a girl to do? I tried ordering online like I usually do, but they were sold out. I really wanted a particular breed, Silver Wyandotte. Maybe I could pick up a companion hen?
I did need to pick up chicken feed. Guess what they had at the feed store? Silver Wyandottes and more! I took it as a sign and brought home 8 new babies!
