When it's hay day, I love to cut paper towel rolls up or use toilet paper rolls to stuff & give them to the bunnies!! They love to play with them, toss them, chew on them! (Shred them🤣) Great enrichment, and a good way to keep the hay mess down for the most part!

Sharing because this is spot on 💯
Although I have less animas now than I used to, I am still busy - sometimes even just mentally busy, I admit, but I rarely ever get lots of chances to take updated photos of each individual animal. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I do not and will not spend every waking second on my phone.

While relatively small in scale, this is a working farm. I have over 100 animals, 3 feral children, and a life to maintain outside of this. I always do my best to answer messages in timely fashion but the photo updates of rabbits will be few and far between once they have been reserved. My puppies have a dedicated group and they’re raised in my bedroom before being moved to the living area, so updates on them is easier because I’m always with them. Rabbits take more time and I have to stop every 2 minutes to fetch my two year old from raised surfaces and take various dangerous items away from him. I understand that might be frustrating for some and it’s okay if I’m not the breeder for you. I sell very very few pets as it is anyway. I know you might think in your head that the animals are just here and we sit around all day posting pretty pictures, but it is more work than a full time job on top of raising and homeschooling kids. There are zero days off and we are outside until well after dark every single day. I wish I had the time to be a bit more present or do more but I don’t nor do I have the money to hire staff to do those things. But rest assured every animal receives the best care possible because that’s what’s important 💖

This was when we had made butter & buttermilk for the first time! 🧈

We were so excited we could do it in our Ninja Blender! It turned out so awesome, it was a huge learning experience and I love doing it!

Does anyone else make their own butter?!
