A few things i’ve learned about ✨Lexi ✨

1. She stands stock still for the farrier, as in does not move one muscle. (I am exceptionally proud of her for this)

2. It would be easier to list the things she’s NOT afraid of
1. Goats (Personally, I feel that goats are sketchy creatures so I’m really surprised by this but what do I know 🤷🏻‍♀️)
2. Other horses
That’s it.
We have SO. MUCH. desensitizing to do. So. Much. 😳

3. My saddle (that has fit every single dang horse I’ve ever put it on except one) and my saddle pad are too big for her 😭 So is the bridle that I specifically bought her 😒 But, don’t worry, the English one that I already had does 🙄

4. She’s a 10ish year old mare that is, I’m sure a mutt of pony breeds. I think she’s some sort of fjord/haflinger cross. I also highly suspect that she was at one time, Amish broke

5. She’s not in fact a semi feral golden glue stick, she does have a brain and she’s trying VERY hard to use it 🤣 it’s just… rusty
