Hey, guys! It's been a while! I'm so sorry you didn't hear from me...I got sick a day after I learned about the master degree, went to the ER twice in one week and four doctors examined me the second time, but in the meantime after I left the first time, it somehow started healing by itself. Now I have a colonoscopy scheduled in about two weeks to find out more. I've been having issues with stomach and colon for years.
My mental health is worse. I miss Texas so bad that I have days when I'm just sitting here crying, other days are better, but all in all I'm just waiting for my life to start here. I've been so lucky with everything once I got here and I do appreciate that, but I'm still missing my Texas life so bad, most of all the markets and the concerts.
With my business it takes so much longer than expected, I'm in the final stage of the financing process and after that I can order my trailer and go register my business. Turns out I only need a master degree if I want to stay in one place, otherwise I need a travelling business card which allows me to sell in different places. Crazy, right? In Texas I just applied for markets, drove there, set up, bam! Here there's just so many regulations...so to make bakery products in your food trailer you need that master degree, unless it's a travelling business or you're on a market. For markets you need a market permit and the market organizer takes care of electricity, water and grey water and restrooms. And you can cook and bake. With the travelling business you're allowed to bake your own products and cook, but you're not allowed to promote your business or get booked for private events. That was kind of a set back. As social media is still so new there's a loop hole. You can have an instagram or facebook account to tell people where you're next and what you offer, like a journal, but people are not allowed to contact you, the only way of selling stuff is by reaching out to the customer. That's why I'm planning on still getting that master degree substitute so if I happen to be in one spot for a while or in the same spot every week it could count as a "standing business" which requires that master degree. Then I can have business cards and promote and let people book me for weddings or little events. But without the loan there won't be any business. Oh, yeah, I had AI create a picture of my little trailer that I would like to share with you. So wish me luck for the next phase!
