π» THE SUNFLOWER FIELD OPENS FRIDAY, AUGUST 28TH! π»
(Maybe Thursday if I can get everything finalized)
We are so excited to welcome everyone back to the sunflowers!
This year youβll find us at a NEW field location, just down the road from last year:
π 6445 Hess Jawtak Rd NE, Corydon, IN
ADMISSION & U-PICK
π» Field admission: $2 per person
π» Ages 6 & under: FREE
π» U-Pick sunflowers: $1 per stem
The field is open from dawn to dusk. Your admission gives you access to the entire field, our sunflower trail, photo spots, and plenty of room to wander and enjoy the flowers.
Cash and Venmo are accepted. Please pay at the sunflower mailbox located at the field.
πΈ EXPLORE THE FIELD
Even though Mother Nature had other plans for our maze this year, there is still plenty to explore!
We have 9 different photo spots throughout the field, connected by a sunflower trail. There are also open areas to wander, a wide grassy waterway with sunflowers growing on both sides, and room to walk around the perimeter of the field.
Please do not pick flowers immediately around the photo spots. We want to keep those areas looking beautiful for everyone throughout the season. There are plenty of other areas of the field where you are welcome to cut your flowers!
β€οΈ GIVING BACK
We will once again be donating a portion of this yearβs proceeds to Lanesville Schoolβs E.L.F. program, which helps local families during the holiday season. We were so grateful for the support this project received last year, and we would love to surpass last yearβs donation this season!
Weβre also excited to have a couple of special events happening in the field:
π§ September 3 β Yoga in the Sunflowers
True You Yoga will be hosting a special yoga session right in the sunflower field.
ππ September 8 β Lanesville FFA Night
Come enjoy the sunflowers while supporting Lanesville FFA! All money brought in that night will go directly to the Lanesville FFA chapter.
π PARKING & FIELD ACCESS
There is a large barn at the property with a spacious gravel driveway and plenty of room for parking.
From the parking area, you will walk through a grassy field to reach the sunflowers, so plan your shoes accordingly.
And new this year, we have a porta-potty on the property for our visitors!
π» A FEW FIELD REMINDERS
This is a working farm and a real field, not a manicured park. The ground can be uneven, so please watch your step. Youβll also encounter bees, bugs, and nature doing what nature does. π
There is a very small pond in front of the sunflower field. Please be aware of it and keep young children away from the water.
No dogs are allowed at the field, please.
Most importantly, please be respectful of the flowers, photo props, field, and property. We love being able to open our farm for everyone to enjoy, and we hope to continue growing this project and welcoming you back for many years to come.
Come cut some flowers, take pictures, walk the trails, watch the bees, or just enjoy some time in the sunflowers. We canβt wait to welcome you starting Friday, August 28th! π»
