Little Miss Laura getting her dirt bath on. She brings me sunshine every time I see her. So thankful Happy peeps & sheep shared her lines with me and has been such a help on building my white pen and teaching me about whites. I never knew I’d be so in love with this color. 🫶🏻

I’ll be taking a break from business as we are 2 weeks away from our wedding & we are so busy! ⛪️ 💞 A picture of our grow outs for cute tax 🫶🏻 I’ll have SO many birds for sale after the wedding. I plan to go through all my pens and grow outs. But for now, we are focusing on our big day coming ❤️ Keep an eye out in September for lots of available birds!

😅 anyone else having these issues too?

This is all the feed I received from Chewy this week that has been expired! Even the replacement shipments have been expired!!! Has anyone else had the issues with Chewy? I don’t have anywhere local that carries Kalmbach so I’m open to any suggestions you guys may have!

Just fyi- myself and Triple Creek Silkies have gotten expired Kalmbach feed in our feed orders from chewy lately. The feed is recommended to be used by 6 months of the production date. Keep a watch on your deliveries!

When the fire happened I had let one last hen sit on eggs. I planned to be done hatching for the season after they hatched. I didn’t know I’d lose all my brooder babies in July to the fire (all our babies under 6 weeks). Those 5 eggs under my hen have been such a blessing for my heart, the hen abandoned nest due to the trauma and heat of the fire, and thank God a friend brought me an incubator. The last baby hatched today. I can’t wait to share pics of them🥹

In the midst of chaos and trauma, i can still find so much joy. Look at these beautiful birds I made!!!! This will not break us. We will grow back stronger!! 🫶🏻❤️
