Something that we have been trying to do with our business is reduce waste and one of the biggest contributors to our waste is the fabric from the teacup holsters. No matter how much I try to use it efficiently, there's still a significant amount of fabric that gets thrown away.

Recently, we discovered Kinusaiga, a modern Japanese art form that uses pieces of fabric to create a "painting". Using this art form, we will be able to reduce the amount of fabric scraps we throw away. So starting this weekend, we will be offering one of a kind pieces like the one pictured (unlike the picture, they will be fully finished and framed). These will only be available at in person events, not on our website.

After toiling, our website has been updated!
All of our current tea selection is available (because I was only.....8 months behind on that one), a couple new bundles have been added, a couple bundles have been modified, and a new selection scents have been added for our lotion bars.

As a heads up, there are a handful of teas that are nearing their demise here at Under the Mountain Apothecary. We are leaving them available to purchase, but once we run out, they will be sent to the graveyard with all due haste: Antioxidant Berry, Autumn Cider, Spirit, Love Spell, Firenze, and Roma.

Good day, Good morrow, and Good greetings! Doug and Syd are finally recovered from three straight weekends of Ren Faire (oh no, how horrible, what punishment.....😎) and are avidly preparing for what's ahead!!

May 30-31st, we are back at the Mid America Center for Mystic Fest.
June 6-7th, we are back at Bellevue Berry Farm for Omaha Potter Faire.
June 13-14th, we are back in Topeka for the Topeka Renaissance Summer Festival.
June 20th, we are making a comeback to Hastings at Chautauqua Park for Solsyice in the Park (and throwing a tea party!)

April 10-12, at Cornhusker Marriot in Lincoln, we're holding down the fort at Great Plains Gamefest!
April 18-19, out in Ames, IA, we're joining the Prairie Rose Rennaissance Festival.
Finally, April 25th, we will be at the Sandhills Event Center for Magic in Bloom!
