This Halloween, starting at 5:00 p.m., I will be giving out FREE hot dogs to the kids that stop by at South 16th and 4th Ave. While supplies last.

Last Thursday, while serving hot dogs, I collapsed and ended up in the hospital. Now I have a top of the line pacemaker and will take a couple of weeks to recover. Miss you guys and hope to see you when I can. Peace.

I would like to take this opportunity to encourage everyone to get out and vote today, and to re-elect Roger Sandau for City Council.
I got to know Rog, (also known as little Rog) when I went to work for his dad. When you see a guy almost everyday, you get to know what his priorities are, and what makes him tick. He is a problem solver. They say if you have a job to be done, give that job to a busy man. When he takes on a job there's no halfway. We've had many conversations concerning city matters, and he is passionate about making Council Bluffs a better place for everyone. He has, and will continue to make that happen.

Jimmy just called! He'll be giving away FREE hot dogs to anyone who donates $5 or more to Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue, Inc at the Dog Wash Party this Sunday from 2-4pm! See your beertender if you would like to donate and they will give you a coupon to use at Jimmy's Hot Dog Cart! Bring the doggo down for a free dog bath and nail trim. There will also be raffles, a doggy dessert bar, bone broth shots and dog bandanas! DogGurt will be on site selling their delish dog yogurt. We'll have a limited supply of specialty Dog Wash tshirts available for purchase day of with proceeds also being donated by FF! Cheers!
