Ocean Bluff Farm

Ocean Bluff Farm We raise a performance herd of ADGA Nigerian Dwarf Goats in the PNW. We participate in performance programs including milk testing, linear appraisal & shows.

We also produce goat milk soap & offer a farm guest house stay. Check out www.oceanblufffarm.com This soap has been lovingly made with milk from our own little herd of Nigerian Dwarf Goats. Nigerian Dwarf goats are known to have the highest butterfat content of any of the goat breeds, this helps to create a rich, creamy luxurious soap. No artificial colors or fragrances are ever used in any of our soaps. We hope you enjoy our products!

Update: See picture.
These sweet girls are looking for their next new pasture. They are all born this year, have been disbudded, have been given their CDT and are super friendly. They come from a clean tested herd we have been annually testing since 2018. These girls come from top milk lines, with milk records to prove it, and will make fantastic home milkers. Please message if you would like to know more. Thank you!

My girls received these awards the other day from the American Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Association. The gold Juju award goes to a doe that milks at least 1,250 lbs of milk -OR- 67.5 lbs of butterfat in 305 days or less.

Two of my girls qualified for the gold award last year, Ocean Bluff Farm BT Rhea Moon and Ocean Bluff Farm Panic Attack. I want to make to recognize these two girls and their will to milk and excel at their job. 🐐❀️πŸ₯›

Late last night GCH Highland Ranch Rein E Day EVEE90 kidded a 4.1lb blue eyed buckskin buck. After some stops and starts Rein then kidded a doe and buck that were both DOA. πŸ˜₯😒 This buckling is sired by Hanson Hideaway Black Jack, son of Hanson Hideaway Candy, 2023 National Show Winner and 2025 Breed Leader. It is upsetting about the two doa but I am thankful this little guy made it.

Excited that Hanson Hideaway Black Jack is going to reside in another performance herd. Congratulations to Chrissy with Mc6 Family Farm! He still has straws available with Blue Mountain Genetics if you will be at ADGA National Show and want to pick some up.

WOW!!!! Someone pinch me!!! 🀩

Not only is Candy a National Champion and Best Udder, she can now add ADGA Top 10 Breed Leader to her list of accolades!! πŸ”₯πŸ†

Correct me if I’m wrong, but Candy may be only the 4th Nigerian Dwarf in ADGA history to earn both National Champion AND Breed Leader honors! What an incredible accomplishment.

✨GCH Hanson Hideaway BV Candy 4*M EEEE 92✨

I’m honestly beyond speechless and so incredibly proud. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine Candy would achieve so much, but she continues to exceed every expectation and leave her mark in the breed. She has been such a special doe from the very beginning and watching her earn these accomplishments has been an unforgettable journey. πŸ’›πŸ–€

Even more meaningful, Candy now joins her incredible family members in earning the title of Breed Leader:

✨ Her dam:
SGCH Gladie Acres CC Reeses 3*M VEEE 90
🌟 2021, 2022 & 2023 Breed Leader

✨ Her maternal sister:
GCH Hanson Hideaway MM Fun Dip 4*M VEEE 91
🌟 2023 Breed Leader

And now… ✨ Candy ✨ joins that legacy.

So thankful and so proud!! What an amazing honor for such a special girl. 🐐

Past ADGA National Champions AND Breed Leaders:
✨2010 National Champion Rosasharn's Haiku
✨2010 Reserve Champion AGS Rosasharn's Buckwheat Honey
✨2013 National Champion CH Wyojem Wendy Kiki

Ocean Bluff BJ Pandora's Box is out of my doe Ocean Bluff Farm Panic Attack and sired by Hanson Hideaway Black Jack (Son of 2023 National Show Winner and 2025 Breed Leader Hanson Hideaway Candy EEEE92).

Pandora is a pretty young first freshener and still growing. She has a funny little personality that keeps me entertained. Pandora only went to Udder Spectacular with me so far this spring because she was the last to kid of the spring does and it took a while for her milk to come in. She did not place that well under the judges, 9th being her highest, but I do believe she is going to be a next year goat.

Ocean Bluff SN Poppy Dot is a FF out of my Elite milking doe Ocean Bluff Farm Polka Dot and sired by Highland Ranch Starry Night (Son of GCH Highland Ranch Rein E Day EVEE90).

Poppy goat a 2nd at the Puyallup Spring Fair under Judge Lorelei Hallock. At the Kitsap Fuzzy Show she goat a 2nd under Judge Dr. Tessa Maggiulli and a 2nd under Madeline Evans.

This girl has an incredible socked on udder and I believe will see big improvement in her teat placement with one more freshening. I love how correct and solid on four corners this doe is and even as a first freshener is showing nice body capacity.

She is definitely going to be fun to watch mature!

Next up is my 3yo Ocean Bluff Farm BT Panic Attack. Pani is my jumps to the stand and licks her bowl clean goat. She is consistently giving me 5 plus lbs. of milk a day and loves her job. I just love Pani's wedge shape and natural uphill way of traveling. She is a joy to have in the barn and loves her job.

Because she is such an easy girl, I tend to bring her to all the shows with me. This year her highlight was when she placed 2nd under Judge Lorelei Hallock at the Puyallup Spring Fair. This girl consistently places in the top third of her class and has that will to milk that makes her a barn favorite. She is pictured below (milked out) as Alexandra's, my farm helper, showmanship goat.

Pani gave me 2 doelings and 2 bucklings this year. I am retaining one of her doelings but the other is available (see pictures below). Pani was bred to CH Highland Ranch Rising Star who won Best Buck in Show at the Udder Spectacular last year. I was going to show him again, but he measured in a half inch over height so the one leg and Best in Show is all he will have, that and his beautiful daughters (See his daughter Khaos who I just posted about!)

I am going to be doing this a little different. IN addition to posting my goats highlights from the Udder The Udder Spectacular I am also going to be posting the highlights for each from the other 2 shows this spring. I had not posted any of our results because I was really hoping some pictures might pop up since I did not get any from either of those shows. Doh, my bad!

But on a positive note, my husband did redeem himself and got some lovely pictures of my girls in the ring and even a couple of pretty good udder photos right before milking out. Yay!

So first up is my 2-year-old, 2nd freshener who is consistently milking 4 plus lbs a day. Her highlight at the Udder Spectacular was placing 3rd out of a huge and competitive 2yo class of 24 does under judge Kelcie Wolbodlt. Khaos also took 1st place at the Puyallup Spring Fair under judge Lorelei Hallock. I really love this girl's mother, Karamel, and am excited to see how she continues to mature.

Khaos gave me 4 doelings this year! Two have sold while I went back and forth on her last two doelings. I now have figured out who I am keeping so I do have one last gold doeling available. Her kids were sired by the 2023 National Show Winner and 2024 Breed Leader Hanson's Hideaway Farm Candy son, Hanson Hideaway Black Jack. Please pm me if you would like more info!

Show results will be coming but I am trying to find pics of all my girls. I asked my husband to get pics and as you can see below he definitely did BUT I think I may need to clarify what type of pics i am hoping for. πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ Pictured below is Ocean Bluff Kharmer (Charmer)out of Ocean Bluff Z Karamel and sired by Highland Ranch Starry Night. My husband did catch his sweet little personality at least. 😊
