Say a prayer for Li'l Dolly Parton - our sweet girl had a colic episode today. Rest assured the great team at CT Equine Clinic was there in a matter of minutes to treat our little hooved princess. We're not in the clear yet - itll be a long, stressful, and sleepless night (and that doesn't even include our infant son)...

That's the life of a farmer. You have good days... and you have bad, stressful, and expensive days. But its all worth it - and you make it work for the animals who depend on you. Also, anyone looking to buy a kidney? Asking for a friend... 😄

Update: Dolly is doing well! Woot woot!!

When we first bought the farm we were excited to have trick-or-treaters for the first time at our new home. So I reach out to our neighbor and ask how much more candy to buy from her experience. She replied "I haven't had a trick-or-treater in the 20+ years I've lived here"... Well that isnt stopping us this year - say hello to Coventry's own Headless Horseman!

Wait till you see what Marv the Goat is dressing up as in a few weeks!

The farm once again grew this week... but this addition doesnt have hooves! Welcome to the future of Gadomski Farm, our little future farmer, Maksymilian (aka Maks)!

It has been a very busy few weeks at the farm, and a lot of new residents joined our family on Brewster Street. Moriah celebrated her birthday, so I had to give her some gifts.... new animals! She got 2 nubian goats, 2 ducklings, 2 goslings, and 30 mix-breed chicks. And wes were blessed to recieve an amazing new shelter / clubhouse for our horses, as well as a giant crate and bathtub from our great Coventry neighbors to house our growing flock.

We also got confirmation our farm store would be built by early August, and celebrated Moriah's baby shower... little farmer Gadomski is 2 months away!

Our farm was blessed to be gifted this calf-hut from a neighbor a few minutes away. They used it for their goats and now our flock has their forever home. Suffice to say, Baaaarbara the sheep (flock's matriarch) approves. And if she does, the goats do too! And there's definitely room for another 🐑 and 🐐,or two....

Had a phone call today with our friend Frank from NY... and I'M PROUD TO ANNOUNCE- OUR BABY WAS BORN!

Mooriah the Cow (the one with 4 legs, not 2) was born two weeks ago, is happy, healthy, and will soon join Gadomski Farm! Our baby heifer will spend her life at the farm and in about 1.5-2 years will provide our great community with the freshest milk, butter, and cheese you could ask for!

Only a few more weeks till Brewster Street has it's 301st cow... let's get ready to welcome the newest Gadomski baby, MOOriah!
