🌱✨ Life at the farm this week looked a little like organized chaos—and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

From pouring concrete and cutting lumber to landscaping projects and property improvements, there was no shortage of work getting done around Specialty Farm this week.

What makes it even more special is that this isn’t just a farm—it’s family. Whether it’s volunteers, community members, or even family lending a hand, everyone plays a part in helping bring our vision to life.

Every project completed helps us create a space where community, education, agriculture, and service can come together.

Thank you to everyone who continues to invest their time, energy, and heart into Specialty Farm. 💚🌱

🐾💚 More than farm dogs—they’re protectors.

At Specialty Farm, Dolly and Tank play an important role in keeping our farm family safe. As livestock guardian dogs, their job is to watch over the animals, stay alert to potential threats, and help create a calm, secure environment throughout the property.

These gentle giants are known for their loyalty, intelligence, and strong protective instincts. While they may spend their days patrolling the farm, napping in the grass, or checking in on the animals, they’re always working behind the scenes to do what they do best—protect the herd.

From the youngest animals to the oldest, Dolly and Tank help make Specialty Farm a safe place for everyone. 🐶🌱💚

🐾💚 Why Livestock Guardian Dogs Matter

At Specialty Farm, our livestock guardian dogs do much more than look cute—they play an important role in protecting the animals that call the farm home.

Meet Dolly and Tank, our dedicated Great Pyrenees. These gentle giants help watch over the farm, keeping an eye on the pigs, goats, and other animals while providing a sense of security throughout the property.

Dolly may be the wise grandmother of the group, and Tank may still be learning from her, but together they help ensure our farm family stays safe and protected.

Livestock guardian dogs are bred to live alongside and protect animals, making them an important part of farms like ours. Their calm presence, loyalty, and protective instincts help create a safe environment for the animals in their care.

🐶💚 Thank you, Dolly and Tank, for all you do!

💚🌱 Life on the farm is never boring.

This week brought plenty of animal encounters, farm projects, volunteer support, and moments that remind us why we love what we do. Every day is different, but each one helps us move closer to our mission of creating a place where community, education, and agriculture come together.

Here’s a look around the farm this week. 👀🐷🐐
