Hello everyone! My name is Sharena — proud owner of CMYDIMPLE’S Cookies Obsessions, home of the $5 Big Back Cookies! 🍪💜
On Saturday, November 1st, my business had the amazing opportunity to be a vendor at the Fall Fest hosted by Newton County Recreation at City Pond Park, where we completely sold out with over 200 cookies!😊
But what makes this so special goes far beyond the sales.
As many of you know, I also proudly serve our community as a Paramedic for Newton County🚑. Recently, two of my coworkers — who are also like family — were involved in a*head-on collision with a drunk driver while returning from a call. Their lives have been forever changed.🥺🥺
To show love and give back to those who sacrifice themselves daily so that others may live, *CMYDIMPLE’S Cookies Obsessions donated all sales from November 1st — a total of $1,050 — to support both of these brave care providers. Each will receive $525 as a small token of our community’s gratitude and support during their recovery. 💜
This would not have been possible without the incredible help of my family and friends, who stayed up late baking and packaging each cookie, and the generosity of community donors like Amy Johnson😍 hopeful City of Covington Council Member, along with the outpouring of support from our amazing Newton County community.💜💜
We are truly grateful for life, for community, and for grace.🥰
Please continue to 🙏🏾 for healing, strength, and peace🙏🏾 for these two wonderful EMS providers as they recover.
Thank you, Newton County — you’ve proven once again that this community shows up big for those who serve. 💜🍪
