Something must have told me I needed to rock the messy bun to work today while I was getting ready. Luckily it did because I drove all the way across town with the windows down. Someone.. probably me.. didn’t take the crates out of my car after delivering chickens last night. My car smells so bad!

We’ve been talking a lot about what life would look like if we didn’t have our little farm but I’m not sure I want to know. The peace I feel sitting out here just watching everyone is second to none. Yes they’re a lot of work and something is always wrong but every once in a while the weather is perfect my animals are contently grazing- Jerry is right by my side.. this is when I soak it all in and remember how much I love this little life and wouldn’t trade it for the world 💛

So it’s been a minute as I have been extremely busy planning big things for our little farm. But this evening I ran home from work, put on all my rain gear to pick up chickens from one of my besties to prepare for a customer pickup. LUCKILY.. we had a break in the rain so I could get home and everyone settled before the storms come back in.
I am not allowed to have animals in my car 🫣🫣🫣 but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do! Every box has birds in it 💀

So, we may have added another variety of critter to the plans 😆
