It’s been a busy few days around here!

🐰 Salem x Houdini babies were born today! 5 beautiful littles entered the world!

🐰 Harley x Thunder babies are around a day old now! We’re currently counting 5, possibly 6!

What a breath of fresh air given all the cold weather we’ve had!

In the next week we will be:
🌼 Laying tarp for our Wild Flower Garden coming this spring
🪵 Starting our renovations to our Rabbit Room to accommodate *hopefully* more rabbits and be more weather suitable
🥚 Gathering hatching eggs for Easter Eggers!!

Be looking out the next few months, as we’ve got new things in the works! ⭐️

⭐️ We should be hatching olive eggers in the next month or so! This will be a small hatch, as it’s a project we’re just starting and I’d like to test before I offer to others! 🐓

⭐️ We aim have netherland dwarf and lionhead rabbit babies ready for new 🏠 in April! 🐰

⭐️ Hopefully, we will be offering peacock hatching eggs and peachicks after April! 🦚

⭐️ We’ve added Call ducks(Tiny Ducks are what we call them around here) to the farm! 🦆

Expanding what we offer! 💥

💥 We’re anticipating adding a Wildflower garden this spring, so if you need a cute little surprise for your honey, mom, or grandma we will have cute bouquets in the coming months! 🌺

💥 A small Vegetable Garden will be added this spring as well! We plan to have tomatoes, peppers and squash as we just start out. 🍅🫑

There are more surprises and expansions that we’ve thrown into the project jar, but these are 2 we know for certain are coming!

And remember, Jesus loves you! ✝️

Within the last week we have 2 new litters!
Up first is Salem x Houdini! She had 4 beautiful double mane babies on 11/19! Currently looks as though we have 3 Blue Eyed White’s and a VM sable point!
Next is Harley x Thunder which were born today, 11/25! Also looks as though we have 2 black otter and 2 chocolate Netherland Dwarf babies!
We’re over the moon with all the precious babies in the barn!

Hello everyone! Wanted to give a quick update of litters we should have available in the next few weeks!

We will have Lionhead kits(Salem x Houdini) in about 2 weeks!

We will also have Netherland Dwarf kits(Harley x Thunder) in about 3 weeks!

While we do have horses on the farm, they aren’t the main focus to our homestead(although they should be!) I’ve grown very fond of the Wild Horse and B***o program the Bureau of Land Management offers. Watching these wild horses become amazing partners is something you can’t put into words, and I’m thankful to have had 4 in my life. All but 1 of these pictured we have started from completely wild, to riding under saddle. 🩷

Rabbits can help your homestead multiple ways? Here’s how!

1️⃣- Meat production(depending on the breed you raise.

2️⃣-kit production! Rabbits can have babies between 28-31 days, and wean them off around 8 weeks of age!

3️⃣- fertilizer! That’s right! All those f***s you despise picking up? Put that in your gardens! It’s one of the best fertilizers you can’t purchase at a store!

Not only are these critters cute, they can help your homestead grow!

Let’s talk about feed!

What you put into your animals is just as important as what they can put out for you! I like to ‘ball on a budget’ so research has been a big part of my choice.
All of my livestock animals(horses, donkey, turkey, ducks, geese, chickens and rabbits) are fed Tucker Milling feeds. I haven’t found another feed that is of great quality, and cost efficient as theirs! So whether you’re looking to feed nursing mares, or a Non-GMO option for your rabbits, they’ve got it all! Go check out their page or stop by your local feed store(Tractor Supply does NOT supply Tucker Milling) and give this feed line a try! You WON’T regret it!

Good afternoon! Wanted to give a couple updates since we haven’t in a while!

You’ll notice our name and profile picture have changed! This comes from our projects we have in the works that broaden what we offer at our farm! Follow us for those exciting announcements in the future!

We do have Farm Fresh Eggs available now! Our chickens are free range with supplemental grain feed.
