Please join us in praying for our community today. Pray for all the families and loved ones of all of the officers involved in yesterday's events. Pray a blanket of peace and comfort over the families that lost their courageous heroes.

We have quail eggs!! We love these for fresh eating, pickling, and even a special treat for our dogs!

Quail eggs are excellent for those with allergies, including MCAS, as they are higher in antioxidants and really help decrease inflammation. Plus, they are packed with more protein, fat, iron, riboflavin, and b12 by weight compared to chicken eggs. Truly a superfood!

$4/doz or $3/doz if you purchase 3 or more cartons.

The most special Christmas gift from my husband that I have ever received. He worked so hard to build fence and hang gates and prep a shelter over the past couple of weeks so that today we could bring home my little fiber flock. Life has been hard lately. My heart is raw from this past year, but walking in the field with these beauties is a solace I couldn't even describe.

Welcome to the farm Faline, Sage, Dolly, Crystal, Dovie, Mari, and Snicker Doodle. My new shetland sheep. Now I just have to remember which sheep goes to which name 😉

This naughty girl has thoroughly been enjoying the cooler temps and the start of hay feeding season and is putting more milk in the bucket. So we have a few extra gallons of milk available each week. Send me a message or text to reserve yours!

We're breaking up. Me and the chickens that is. I think 10 years of trying to raise chickens unsuccessfully is a good run. But the eggs are essential to our diet on the farm. So I couldn't just get rid of the birds altogether without finding a suitable replacement. Enter quail. Jumbo Coturnix to be exact. Apparently they're easier, hardier, and just down right better than chickens. Their eggs are more nutritious, they lay much quicker and more reliably, plus they taste delicious when you inevitably find yourself with too many roos. Add in a gaggle (?) of ducks 🤷‍♀️ and we should be able to keep ourselves in eggs year round without the pesky little chicken devils deciding that today is a good day to just drop dead or single handedly destroy my veggie garden.

Bonus, these guys are just really cool.
