Welcome to my page and thank you for following! I am Halei Musil, creator of Halei's Homemade Jams & Jellies. My mission is to create delicious spreads from my home kitchen for you and your loved ones to enjoy. A little bit about myself - I am from small town Crescent, Oklahoma, where I currently reside. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 13 years and we have two great kiddos! I
am a Registered Nurse and decided to take a break from health care after the birth of my daughter. Being in the kitchen is natural for me. I have always enjoyed making food and sweets for holidays and family functions. I learned to make jelly about a decade ago, but it wasn't something I had a great interest in. A few years ago, I began harvesting sand plums and this ignited a passion to make jelly again! I was able to meet new people and hear stories of how it reminded them of their grandma or childhood memories, and it really warmed my heart. I began to branch out to local Farmers Markets and added Christmas Jam to the menu. In 2024, I have taken some big chances. To date I have made 30+ flavors of jams and jellies. These have been sold at Farmers Markets in 3 towns and currently reside in two retail shops - Jones Garden Center in Crescent, OK and Lakeview Market Hub in Yukon, OK. I was also ecstatic to enter my goodies in the Logan County Free Fair as well as the Oklahoma State Fair. At the local fair my cranberry jelly and strawberry jalapeno jams placed first. I had four other entries that placed second. At the state fair, my blackberry jelly placed 2nd! :)
I am thankful for so many wonderful opportunities this year! I have met some awesome people who have become new friends. The glory goes to God for giving me this gift and allowing me to share with others.
