Get hyped about more zinnias!! Did you catch in my stories this weekend that I have 100+ baby zinnia seedlings that are *currently* happy in their seed-starting home in my laundry room? (I’m trying sooooo hard not to mess them up this time!)
While I *do* feel a little bad about hyping up my late summer/fall zinnias already, you like seeing behind the scenes at the farm, right? Well, last Saturday I started two trays of zinnias for the first succession that hopefully will be ready by August 22nd for the first flower stand back after my little summer break in July and the beginning of August. Mark your calendars!

Thanks so much for weighing in on what colors you want to see in our fall bouquets! They are going to be gorgie!!

This ✨midweek sparkle✨ is brought to you by details. One thing that really makes me happy with the bouquets from Henbit Acre is the details. Have you ever gotten one and just really looked at all the different kinds of ingredients that are included? Flowers and foliage of different textures, shapes, colors, fragrances all coming together to make something whole and beautiful.

P.S. if some of the flowers look squished, it’s because they haven’t fully opened yet! That means you get to watch them open and enjoy them longer!

May. Zinnias really showed up. Harvested the first of the sunflowers over Mother’s Day weekend. Sold out the flower stand that weekend too! Gained a lot of new flower friends. Got to help with prom and graduation parties for the first time. Lots of bee buds found some good spots. Made some of my favorite bouquets so far this year. Started seeds for the fall season. And thanks to you, we raised over $200 for our missionary friends who began their trek back to Madagascar on the 31st!

It’s easy to look back and see the good, but to be honest there was a lot of rough too. Doubt, stress, fear about doing a good job. Balancing family and a second-year business. Having a virus sweep through our fam for two weeks. Coping with disease pressure and fire ants.

Another month to practice having open hands and see where God wants to take us. So grateful He has used our flowers to bless so many this month. And so grateful that you choose to be here!

Happy mini farm tour day to all who celebrate!!
On the agenda: Beds B&C and a little preview of what I’m thinking for the fall.
You might need the captions on the one again because Twinnie A decided he had things to say while I was recording. Love his babble so much, but for the record, did try to get him to “shhhh” to no avail. 🙃
