🐣 We moved our young chickens out of the basement into one of the new coops this week. Lots of cute Polish chickens and some mixed breed from our existing flock. We are already getting about 50 eggs a day from our laying hens and will have even more once the new hens start laying. I see a little rooster in there! We are still feeding all of our chickens soy-free, organic feed. It costs more, but the egg quality is unmatched. 🥚 🍳

Market opens June 13th at 10:00!

Anton planted 70 new fruit trees- apple, pear, plum, and more peach! It will be a couple of years before the new trees produce fruit, but we will get peaches this year from the 40 existing trees. 🍑
Oh, and the strawberry plants look amazing!🍓

Weekly farm update: BABY GOATS!!!!
They started out a little scared and huddled together. Within hours, Lenny showed them how to be brave and have a little fun. Daisy came by to say hello through the fence. Thank you to Fluffy Feather Farm in Hebron! You can tell these babies were well cared for and handled a lot.

Did you know that one of the biggest factors in how often chickens lay eggs is the amount of daylight? Well our chickens have noticed the longer days and have started laying a ton of eggs!
Our chickens are fed organic, soy free feed and are truly free-range.
