The Orchard sold and we closed in early April. Thank you for following our journey all these years. However, it is time to complete closing down Gants Family Orchard.

Good news a nice gentlemen bought the orchard and plans to continue farming our famous little orchard. I will keep this page open until I get information from the new owner with the new business information.

Mike was a second generation USMC veteran. His grandfather was in WWI, and his father served in Korea (USMC). Mike joined the Marines before he graduated from high school. He was ready to head to Vietnam if needed, then it ended before he went to boot camp.

Amy comes from a long line of USAF and Navy veterans.

Yesterday I thought fondly of how proud Mike was to be a Marine. Wasn’t he a handsome young soldier?

250 years of the USMC (yesterday) and today is Veteran’s Day. Remember why we are free in the best country on earth! God bless America and god bless our veterans!
