Hello Followers!! Meet Stephanie. As the farm goes through a great deal of change we get the pleasure of having Stephanie on board to complete her residency. One thing we have learned about change is GROWTH is sure to follow. Stephanie and a second counselor we hired named Shannon have signed up and will be attending training to be certified in conducting equine therapy. This SIGNIFICANTLY adds high quality skills to your therapeutic sessions. Can we all welcome and  congratulate Stephanie as she embarks on her new journey!!

We are going to use these 2 pictures of the farmer’s daughter to talk about CHANGE. By doing so, Let’s emphasize the phrase “This too shall pass.” Sometimes we are on top of the world. Things are running and feeling like a well oiled machine. “This too shall pass.” Another moment you are on the ground with a bull on top of you. “This too shall pass.” Change is like this. We often get fearful of change, beg for the change not to happen, speed up the process of change to get it over with. Regardless, Change is on the horizon. Let’s take it to scripture where the truth resides. What does God say about change???

Requirements for this position is to have a License in the state of Virginia. Key characteristics of this Licensed Therapist would be having a patient, calm, and compassionate personality who wants to serve others who may have trauma or other mental health needs.

This person will be considered a private contractor and is required to carry their own Liability Insurance and will have to complete a background check. We are looking for someone who can complete a minimum of 10 to 25 outpatient sessions per week. Open to part-time options.

We want a highly motivated and innovative individual who wants to be apart of the growth of this program.

Do you qualify for an emotional support animal (ESA) or want more information on what constitutes an ESA? This sweet ESA knew his job when he accompanied his person to the farm for talk therapy. This is 16lbs of pure support ❤️ 🐰 Fun facts about rabbits: Rabbits are loving creatures that do not require as much as dogs and cats (our most common type of ESA). They are quiet, have gentle personalities, and training is usually a breeze.

Please note, these fun facts apply only when they are properly cared for and regularly loved. As all animals they have basic needs that must be met on a daily basis. ❤️❤️
