The Story Behind Sonny’s Sunday Table ❤️🍝
Some names are more than names. They carry a story, a family, and a lifetime of memories.
Sonny’s Sunday Table was named after my grandfather, a man whose nickname was Sonny—and a man who believed there was always room at his table.
Sonny was selfless, kind, funny, and the kind of person who would help a friend without ever expecting anything in return. His home was a place where people gathered, ate, laughed, told stories, and made memories. Friends became family, and nobody ever seemed to leave hungry.
And then there was Sunday.
Sunday was non-negotiable. It was family time. Pasta was on the table, everyone gathered around, and for a few hours the outside world could wait. ❤️
Sonny’s younger years were filled with the kind of crazy adventures and unforgettable stories that seem almost too good to be true. And somehow, story after story, his grandchildren continue to laugh and listen with fascination—even though Sonny never had the chance to meet us.
That’s the beautiful thing about a family story: someone can be gone, but the stories keep them alive.
Today, his name lives on through Sonny’s Sunday Table—a business built around the same things he valued most: good food, family, friendship, laughter, and bringing people together around a table.
Every jar, every meal, and every Sunday carries a little piece of Sonny with it.
He may not have met his grandchildren, but we know him.
We know him through the stories passed down.
And now, through Sonny’s Sunday Table, his story gets to be shared with everyone.
So when you open a jar of Sonny’s spices, we hope you remember what Sonny always seemed to know:
The best memories are made around a table, with good food and the people you love.
