When it snows 5” but you’re only 10” tall☹️🤣 don’t worry after that journey to the feeder and only finding snow I moved it for them🤣

Someone turn off the snow button please, we still had 4” of ice under all this fresh snow that came down in a hour and a half today!☃️

My thoughts go out to everyone who experienced loss with this storm, I know it was incredibly hard on the animals.

We are extremely lucky everyone survived, down to my month old babies❤️ also very thankful none of my pens collapsed, thanks to my family for finishing the metal roof for me in time! Definitely spend the money and do metal not netting/tarps for roofs if you can!!

Hairline cracked egg is still developing!! I haven’t been active the last few days, trying to get everything ready for whatever the weather brings this weekend… hoping we don’t lose power so I won’t have to bring birds inside but prepared if we do!😅🤞🏼

My first time dealing with this personally! I have a baby developing in an egg with a hairline crack, I’ve seen people seal cracks with wax so I’ll be doing that tomorrow. For tonight I taped it up, hope this little one makes it🤞🏼🤞🏼

Getting my 2026 chick list together! Not all will be ready to go at the start of this season but will be by late fall🐥💗

I also still plan to support my locals that sell hatching eggs, it’s a great way for me to meet others since we don’t do the swaps!! So just because you don’t see what you’re looking for out of my stock, I can still probably track down what you need!

Also keep your eyes peeled for a chick box giveaway🤩🤩 I’ll be giving away 6 chicks with my first round of babies this year! Can’t wait to kick off chick season!!

Got to meet the very sweet and generous Kel Ash Acres today for the first time!! I cannot thank her enough for my new cuties and eggs I got, she threw in extras of each which was totally a surprise and very much appreciated!!💗 I can’t wait to watch these babies grow and see what hatches from her!🤩 thank you again for giving me the best head start on my silkie journey!!
