This is a tough one to part with. We have retained 3 of his daughters, the first to freshen will be next year. I just cannot justify keeping 6 bucks, our downsizing has been terribly difficult.

We have finally decided on a breeding schedule, I guess it’s about time. I am staggering the kidding season so I can put more focus on each litter. Mel taking a break from her insanely busy schedule to show her doelings MeadowMist NB Minnie Pearl (intermediate) and MeadowMist PG Opalite (junior). She keeps everyone on track and picks up the slack when my back decides it’s had enough. Quentin is our official photographer/goat holder/“hurry up and get the book!” guy not to mention set up/take down and multiple other jobs.

While Hadley is sidelined for the moment, she was very excited for her IVF kid to place 2nd in the intermediate kid class out of 16 very nice kids under Judge Jake Bradford at the Mid Summer Dairy Goat Show. We have always really enjoyed this show and appreciate the hard work of Shane and his show committee.
