Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Ingredients
2 cups strawberries frozen
2 bananas cut into 1-inch chunks
5 oz. yogurt plain or vanilla flavored*
¼ – ½ cup milk almond, cashew, soy, or oat
2 Tbsp. honey or agave nectar, optional

Instructions
Add all strawberry banana smoothie ingredients to a high-speed blender.
Blend ingredients for 1-2 minutes or until completely smooth. Add additional milk as needed until your desired consistency is reached.
Serve immediately and enjoy!

If you are dairy-free or vegan, opt for a coconut milk or almond milk yogurt alternative.

Oaty Mocha Hot Smoothie

INGREDIENTS
▢15 g (0.5oz - about 4 small chunks) dark chocolate, - chopped (check the brand for gluten free if required)
▢240 ml (1 cup milk) unsweetened almond milk
▢1 oz shot of espresso - or 1 tsp instant coffee granules mixed with 2 tbsp water
▢3 tbsp rolled oats - check the brand for gluten free if required
▢½ a ripe medium sized banana
▢8 hazelnuts
▢1 tsp chia seeds
▢1 tsp maca powder - optional
▢2 tbsp cold water

INSTRUCTIONS
Add the dark chocolate to a jug, pour in the milk and the espresso. Microwave until the mixture is warm and the chocolate has melted (you can do this in a pan if you prefer).
Place the oats, banana, hazelnuts, chia seeds, maca powder, the water and approx. a fifth of the milk mixture to your smoothie maker or blender. Add in an extra splash of cold water if you think the liquid is too warm (see warning above about hot liquids and smoothie makers).
Blend on high for a minute until the oats and chia seeds have been completely incorporated.
Whilst it's blending, further heat the rest of the milk mixture until hot, but not boiling.
Pour the blended oat mix into your cup, stir in the milk/chocolate mix and serve.

Strawberry Smoothie

Ingredients
2 cups unsweetened frozen strawberries
1/2 cup cranberry-raspberry juice
1/4 cup orange juice
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
2 large fresh strawberries, for garnish

Steps to Make It
Gather the ingredients.

Place strawberries in bottom of a blender or food processor fitted with a metal blade. Add cranberry-raspberry juice and orange juice and top with vanilla yogurt.

Cover and immediately blend until smooth, scraping down sides if needed.

Strawberry smoothie blended until smooth

1 cup liquid (any combo of milk/milk alternative or juice to make 1 cup)
Handful of ice if you used fresh fruit

Instructions
Load your smoothie ingredients into the blender container in the proper order—liquids first, then soft fruits or vegetables, greens, and ice on top.
Depending on sweetness of the fruit, you might need a bit of sweetener, use honey, agave, maple syrup, Stevia, sugar substitute, apple juice, or a little sugar a tiny bit at a time.

Directions
Well ahead of time, place pumpkin pie filling into a freezer-safe container. Freeze for a few hours or until frozen solid.
To make the smoothie, add milk, and yogurt to a blender. Drop in the frozen pumpkin pie filling and blend until the frozen filling is completely pulverized. Add more milk or yogurt as needed to get it the consistency you'd like.
