I look forward to showing you all what I am made of. I’ve gone back and fourth with this decision because it’s a big one, but I think we finally have the verdict. I’m in the works with an investor to buy a truck instead of building one from scratch. It will allow me to bring a little piece of Texas to you sooner than expected. Much love BBQ Fam!

Big things are in the works! I appreciate everyone’s patience on my next cook date. Between my regular job and working on my food truck plan I’ve been super busy. In the process of talking to a few different people about investment options. My plan is to see the name “Krauss Catering” on the side of a food truck before the end of the year. I’ve already set up spots at different businesses that have given me permission to sell food at their establishments once the truck is ready. We are in the process of getting materials together for a whole new beginning to Krauss Catering. In a movie they once said “If you build it, he will come”. With that being said, I am building a food truck trailer with my pops. I want to elevate the business to a whole new level. I’ve been told my whole life that crazy ideas are the ones that have the most to gain and if it scares you, you should pursue it even more. I’m shooting past the moon. The possibilities are endless. I can’t wait to post pictures of when we start building. Much love BBQ Family ❤️

The menu for the 4th of July cook is as follows. Meat options will be Pulled Pork, Ribs, and Chicken Legs. Side options will be Texas Twinkies, BBQ Beans, Potato Salad and Bacon Pasta Salad. All orders will come with Hawaiian rolls as well as silverware. The boxes are $20.00 each or $40.00 for the fat boy special. The fat boy special will come with extra meat, sides and rolls. Thank you everyone for your continued support in my ventures and I look forward to cooking for everyone. Let’s make this a memorable family outing this year!

Sorry for my absence guys! Life got the best of me and my schedule has been a little crazy. Over the next couple weeks I will be working on a menu for a big cookout. New recipes are in the works. Stay tuned for updates!

🔥🔥🔥 Some new side dish ideas I’m playing with are Jalapeño poppers with brisket and cheese then wrapped in bacon. BBQ beans that will blow your mind how tasty they are. Finally Some old fashioned green beans with a twist.

The potato salad and the bacon pasta salad will be the only two side dishes I’m keeping from the old menu. I also decided the bacon pasta salad will be served hot and not cold.

As far as meats go I’m going to have an assortment of Ribs, Brisket, Pulled Pork, Burgers and Chicken Legs. I’m working on getting crawfish in for a boil as well. I’m ready to roll some smoke. 🔥🔥🔥

I’m in the process of putting together a new menu. My family has helped invest in the business over the last month for Christmas and my birthday. I have a lot of new equipment to break in. Some new items coming to the menu will be 1/2 pound burgers with topping options (bacon or a fried egg), Texas Jalapeño poppers filled with brisket and wrapped in bacon as well as Cheese Fries with meat options (Brisket, Pulled Pork or Chicken). As soon as I set a date for my next cook I will update everyone. Thank you for your continued support and I look forward to cooking for you soon! 🙏🙏
