Did you know? In the late 80s, many standard cocktails were getting a facelift. Creative and aspiring bartenders along with ambitious restaurateurs were inspired to recreate the atmosphere of speakeasy venues; a saloon or nightclub selling alcoholic beverages illegally during Prohibition.
Now, forties years later there are lots of brands being innovating and creating fresh twists to stay competitive.
INTRODUCING WILDERNESS ROAD from Scout & Cellar
THE WORLD’S FIRST MIXABLE™
On this Thirsty Thursday, I recommend a Scoutside Fizz.
1.5 fl. oz. Wilderness Road
1/2 to 1 fl. oz simple syrup
1/2 lemon squeezed
6 mint leaves
Raspberry
Sugar rim
Muddled mint leaves in the base of the cocktail shaker. Add Wilderness Road, simple syrup, and lemon juice. Shake with ice and strain into a chilled glass. Rim glass with flavored sugar, add a mint leaf, lemon rind, and raspberry to garnish.
Have fun and please drink responsibly!
