I was looking at my schedule for the next two months, and found i have two more appearances in Sherman. The time just seems to fly so quickly these days. Kids are back in school, talk of Cowboy football (good or bad). college game day.

Hello to all my friends!! Just an update as to what's coming up for UBS (Uncle Barkos Salsa)

The New Mexico salsas are coming along..I will be bringing the following ones to Farmersville this weekend:

Portales Poblano - OOH so good and mild
Albuquerque Red - Fire-roasted jalapeno
Santa Fe Serrano - Fire-roasted Serrano
Alamagordo Arbol - a little warmer than a serrano, but the aroma is amazing!!
Pecos Pequin - whoa....flavor AND heat!!

The Christmas Sauces are coming along, and by the end of September i should have ample supply.

Thanks so much for the responses on my New Mexico salsas! The Albuquerque Red is a big hit! So, i will be bringing a few more delicious salsas from my old "stomping grounds".

As we get closer to the fall, we will be introducing our New Mexico "Christmas Sauce" for your holiday get togethers. (if you don't know what it is, just ask)

Through my professional life, i've had many adventures and experiences from places across this Great country. One of those special places was Albuquerque.

The native cuisine in New Mexico, like carne adovada , green chile stew and sopapillas all bring back delicious memories.

With that said, i went back to my time in New Mexico, and am bringing to you some New Mexico Salsas for your sampling/purchasing.

Billy Joe's Green Stuff has now jumped over the state line to claim it's place along with two new salsas:

Albuquerque Red - A fire-roasted jalapeno salsa, with hints of cumin, mexican oregano and lemon

Santa Fe Serrano - fire-roasted serrano salsa, with a touch of smoked paprika to enhance it's delicious flavors

We will be at the Sherman Farmers Market from 9-noon tomorrow.

Stop by for something you won't forget
