Update Regarding July Bulk Pickup for Zones 4 and 5

Due to multiple factors, including labor shortages, Waste Connections will not be picking up curb-side bulk for zone 4 and 5 in July.

Instead, starting July 16 and ending July 31, centralized roll-off containers will be placed in the Foster Village Parking lot off Starnes Road and the concrete parking lot of the old Senior Center off Indian Springs Road. Residents may deposit bulk items in either location, or hold them until normal pickup resumes, which is expected for the month of August.

The City appreciates your understanding with the issues at this time. If you have further questions, please contact Waste Connections at 817-222-2221.

We are completely heartbroken to announce that we are mourning one of our own again. Officer Mitchell Penton #11654 was recently married and soon to be a father. He became a peace office to help others and to keep the citizens of Dallas safe.

On 2/13/2021 he was assisting with traffic control on a vehicle collision on a Dallas highway when he was fatally struck by an intoxicated driver.

Officer Mitchell Penton your sacrifice and dedication will never be forgotten.

May you Rest In Peace Brother, We have the Watch.
