From May 12–13, Coca Cola Southwest Beverages was proud to help shape the conversation at the NAOU Sustainability Summit—a powerful two days focused on how sustainability is driving the next chapter of growth across the Coca Cola system.
Our President, Susanne Brady-Lusk, joined fellow leaders as a panelist to share a key message: sustainability isn’t just another initiative—it’s a license to win. For bottlers, it must be embedded into how we operate and compete, serving as a core business strategy that fuels growth, resilience, and long-term value.
CCSWB associates Derek Walker and Eduardo Garza also took the stage to highlight our scalable water efficiency roadmap across local facilities. Water is foundational to everything we do—it supports our products, our communities, and our ability to operate responsibly in an increasingly complex environment.
We were also honored to receive the Green Energy Award, recognizing CCSWB as best-in-class across the NAOU system. As a Tier 1 bottler for renewable energy adoption, we’ve achieved a 62% reduction in Scope 2 emissions—a milestone made possible by the dedication of our procurement and operations teams.
Thank you to NAOU for hosting such a thoughtful and impactful event, and to their team for curating conversations that continue to move our system forward. We also appreciate the insights and expertise shared by fellow Coca Cola bottlers and partners across the system—collaboration like this is what drives real progress.
