🎓✨ Made these cookies for my incredible friend Jessica who just earned her Master's in Social Work! "The tassel was worth the hassle" doesn't even begin to cover it!

Jessica did this in her 40s while raising 4 of her 5 kids at home, managing a small farm with chickens, ducks, mini ponies, and dogs. Let that sink in for a moment. Most of us can barely keep a houseplant alive, and she's out here getting a graduate degree while running what's basically a petting zoo! 🐓🐴🐶

If anyone has earned the right to move that tassel, it's Jessica. This woman is proof that it's never too late to chase your dreams, even when those dreams involve studying late at night while chickens are probably clucking in the background.

Congrats, Jessica! You absolute legend! 🎉

🌸🌧️ Spring cookies for a not-so-spring day! While it's cold and rainy outside here, at least these pretty florals are bringing some sunshine to my kitchen.

From delicate daisies and roses to soft pink embossed hexagons and lavender-covered arches, these spring designs are giving me all the warm-weather vibes I'm clearly not getting from the actual weather. The juxtaposition is real - decorating flowers in pastel pinks and greens while the rain pours down outside! ☔

But hey, if mother nature won't cooperate, I'll just create my own spring, one cookie at a time! 💐

🎭🌹 Made these Hadestown cookies for my daughter Phoenix and the entire cast and crew on opening night! Phoenix is playing Persephone, and watching these young performers grapple with this deeply political masterpiece has been incredible.

Hadestown isn't just a retelling of an ancient myth - it's a mirror held up to our world right now. "Why do we build the wall?" asks one of the most haunting questions of our time. The show forces us to confront how walls divide us, how we trade freedom for the illusion of security, and how those in power exploit fear to keep us apart. In a moment when literal walls are being built and communities are being torn apart, this story hits different.

"It's a sad song but we sing it anyway" - because we have to keep telling these stories, keep asking these questions, keep hoping that maybe this time, we'll choose differently. Art like this reminds us why theatre matters, especially now.

So proud of Madi and the whole team for making it to championships! These girls have worked so hard all season, and now it's time to show everyone what Steel City is made of! 💪
