It starts with the pre...pearing of a pie... opened a 2017 CHE FICO Rose` from Italy... makes for a subtly sweet but then mildly tart... so even the slightest taste of the pear pie stuffing with its cinnimony, ginger and hinted nutmeg sugary sweetness brings the rose' tartness to a boil...causing a complete explosion of well.. I just might need a druel cup.. π€€ lol. Sweet-n-Sour Tarts have nothing on this experience (I liked it, but many would not)... now I see why they recommend Rose' with the tartness of salads and less sugary vinaigrette dressings. Next up.. preparing the pie crust, baking and serving to my friends, and finding a wine that goes well with pear pie deserts... π
