But we’ve gotta gently push back on the “a few locations still exist” part because Bennigan’s is very much alive, growing, and writing one heck of a comeback story right now.

From Bennigan’s restaurants across the globe to 30+ Bennigan’s On The Fly locations across the U.S., the brand continues to grow while staying true to what made people fall in love with it in the first place: warm hospitality, scratch-made comfort food, cold drinks, and nights out that turn into memories.

And honestly? Seeing posts like this reminds us just how much Bennigan’s still means to people.

That kind of connection doesn’t disappear.It evolves.

Bennigan's launched in the mid-1970s as one of the first casual dining chains.

Bennigan’s blended Irish pub vibes with American comfort food, amd became a go-to in the ‘80s and 1990s for happy hours, loaded potato skins, and those legendary Monte Cristo sandwiches deep-fried to golden perfection.

After overexpanding, the chain hit hard times & filed for bankruptcy in 2008 and closing hundreds of locations.
