It's been quite a while since we had pork in stock and today some of our awesome customers received their whole and half shares! 👏🏞 🎉 We are incredibly honored to share our pork with others knowing they choose our pork because of the way we raise our hogs on pasture and in the forest, the quality care we provide, along with the blood, sweat and tears! ðŸĨ“
We have a couple of hogs left to claim that head to freezer camp in late October. Let us know if you want to fill your freezers!

Remember those pumpkins y'all generously gifted to us in November? The hogs processed them, sowed the seeds, and now the vines have taken over in their old paddock and growing new pumpkins! All natural, homegrown, organic, pig farming right there! 🐖 Lord knows if we tried to grow pumpkins we'd absolutely fail, ha. (Zoom in and you can see it's suspended in the air!)

When we say we humanely raise our pigs/hogs to live their best lives...we take it beyond "humane." Mulan hasn't been feeling super great since delivering her 11 piglets last week. She hasn't wanted to eat much and so we decided to entice her with a gourmet meal. We scrambled up some farm fresh eggs courtesy of our hens with some dried oregano (antibacterial properties) and snuck in some essential oils known to have antiinflammatory properties, then mixed in some rice. We didn't just throw it in a bowl at first...nope, we hand fed her. ðŸŦē🏞 She approved! Today, we found she was interested in her feed again so we made the same meal and added it to her feed. 🙏🏞 She has her appetite back and is letting the kids wander from her a little more. When mama's happy, everyone's happy! 🐷

This is welcome news: 1) We expected these piglets in December ðŸĪŠ, and 2) We'll open another round of whole hog reservations from these piglets. Look for our next post!
