Here is Cocoa, our fallow deer. She was so tiny when she joined us in 2015, and on the right is a photo of her today. Her favorite things are apples and hanging with her best pig friend, Marcus.
Just a little joy for your Friday!
We had an amazing time with IUEC Local #21 on Saturday!!

We had a wonderful time hosting for their meeting and conference in July. Consider us for your next conference. We have space for up to 800 guests, Wi-Fi, and great food. Plus, we have tons of activities to enjoy during your break. A hotel can’t come close.
Jumpin’ towards the weekend like…
All worn out after a long afternoon of training. We can’t wait to showcase our petting zoo at upcoming fall events and picnics! 🐷♥️
Today was a good day.
What happens when it pours down rain during your picnic? You bring the fun indoors!!
As we were busy prepping the grounds for our first event of the season, I was struck by this stump. This stump that was cut way down, likely because it had been damaged in a storm. I looked at this tree that suddenly had this big, beautiful sprout, full of leaves and was reminded-nature always finds a way. After this tough year of uncertainty, not knowing whether or not we would make it through to the other side of this pandemic, like this stump, we have found a way. Here’s to the beginning of a wonderful year of health, happiness, and of course, hope!

Wow, what a year. We sure have missed seeing all the smiling faces, the smell of barbecue, and the laughter that once filled our facility in Dallas. Well, good news! As our state begins to open up, and as Covid numbers continue to decline, we are working to begin producing events at our ranch again.
We have new Covid protocols in place to keep our staff and our guests as healthy and protected as possible. If you're as ready as we are, give us a call or send us a message, and let us know how we can work with you today!
We will be hosting Open Interviews for The Southern Cross and Trinity Forest Adventure Park, at 3PM on May 7th. Employment Applications are available at trinitytreetops.com.

I am deeply saddened to announce the State Fair of Texas will not open for the 2020 season. The Fair celebrates all things Texan, and with that comes...being friendly, lending a helping hand, looking out for others, and giving a warm welcome, like my favorite, “Howdy, Folks.” This year those essential traits of being a Texan matter more than ever. We must take care of our neighbors and loved ones.
The State Fair’s commitment to our nonprofit mission of promoting agriculture, education, and community involvement will continue. In addition, we commit to maintaining as many participation opportunities as possible for both livestock and creative arts - stay tuned for more updates on these contests.
We have celebrated all things Texan for the last 134 years and plan on continuing this tradition next year, and for years to come. Until then, we as a Fair family, appreciate your understanding, and overall love and dedication toward the State Fair of Texas.

Is there anything better than a cold sno cone on a hot day? Maybe a dip in the pool? A small group from CareCenter Ministries had both (and more) during their youth camp event yesterday!
