Easy Gooey Brownies
Ingredients
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup all-purpose flour
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp baking powder
½ cup chocolate chips (optional but very worth it)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F.

Mix wet ingredients
In a bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until smooth.
Add eggs and vanilla; mix until glossy ✨
Add dry ingredients
Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
Mix just until combined—don’t overmix (that keeps them gooey 😌).
Fold in chocolate chips (if using).
Bake
Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
Bake 20–25 minutes, until edges are set but center is still slightly soft.
Cool (important!)
Let brownies cool in the pan for at least 15–20 minutes before cutting.
They’ll firm up but stay fudgy 💛
