I'm working on getting both horses more fit and ready for longer rides now! Sometimes I don't have time to work both individually so I use my polo experience and pony one. It's a great way to them both worked! I'll still tack both up and typically ride both, sometimes I'll switch which one I'm riding to keep it even. Hoping to do a short trail ride soon!

Ellie was absolutely convinced she could fly today! There were several attempts to launch into orbit (luckily I was not on her for those!). This is only a tiny bit of the zoomies, she did this for at least 10 minutes, all on her own. She was way more relaxed afterwards though!

When it's 103 degrees out, we do everything we can to cool down! The girls got to play in the water then hang out in the shade with fly spray.

It's funny, the horses definitely tolerate the dry heat better than the humidity of Georgia! When we were there, it wouldn't even be this warm temperature-wise but they would be sweating SO MUCH just standing in the shade. Here, they didn't even look super uncomfortable! No sweating, normal breathing, etc. I'm so glad they are handling it well!
