Long ago, a queen, whose fear of fading beauty led her to seek the mystical expertise of her court alchemist. Tasked with concocting a potion to eternalize her youthful allure, the alchemist's creation was what is now known as Queen of Hungary Water.
So profound was its effect that at the venerable age of seventy, she captivated the heart of a twenty-five-year-old duke, leading him to propose marriage. This is my favorite version of the lore surrounding Queen of Hungary Water.
Among the whispers of history, it's said that this ancient formula also held the power to mend joint paralysis—a testament to its remarkable versatility.
My version pictured , is crafted from rosemary, lemon balm, chamomile, rose, calendula, comfrey, and lemon peel. This versatile potion can be used in hair rinses, facial masks, toners, spritzers, and even salad dressings.
