Whistle Tree Farm

Whistle Tree Farm Whistle Tree Farm is a small, family-owned farm in Danby, VT. The farm has been active in agriculture since the beginning of Vermont.

It was sold to the town of Danby in 1859 to become the Town Farm, also referred to as the "poor farm." This rich history will be discussed in future posts.

The kids had an exciting weekend of munching 🌿Saturday, they were visited by a deer while in a back pasture. Kiora touched the fence and cried out, which brought both the doe and I running to check on her. Boy, was I surprised to see the doe gracefully leap the fence, landing in the middle of the herd! It was sweet to see her responding to Kiora’s cries. I’m not sure I’ve ever been that close to a deer.
