They are made form 100% cotton material and are machine washable !

"Tulip Block"

Video Sew Along Schedule

Sat. May 4 : Cutting the pieces. You'll learn some easy techniques for making triangles, and a few cutting short cuts that work for many other projects.

Sat. May 11 : Piecing and Sandwiching. In this video, we will piece the block and layer and baste it, preparing it for the final steps

Sat. May 18: Quilting, Binding and finishing. The same technique you use to bind this block is the same you use for a full size quilt.

I am so excited to do my page's first ever "Block of The Month ". Just so everybody knows, some of the block patterns I will be sharing with you are not my own design. I HOPE to work in some oldies but goodies. If you have an idea, send it on down ☀️

The Farmers Market Bag

I am super pleased with how this bag turned out however, top stitching the side seams was a bear. I did it to add rigidity, however the foam and batting, (the reason the side seams were so hard) is enough to make the bag stand up. It is a prototype and a gift so some changes are likely on the next one.

I LOVE these veggie prints ! I fussy cut the back and front and quilted around the straight lines in the design.

Several pockets make it great as a day/shopping bag for farmers markets or festivals. Side pockets hold water bottles well 😊 Front flap and magnetic snap keeps it closed but makes it easy to open with one hand.
It has a rigid plastic insert hidden in the bottom.
This bag is 13" tall, 14" wide and 8" deep (from interior front wall to interior back wall) with 7 pockets total.
