Patchwork Gardens grows delicious, healthy produce without any chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides.

Patchwork Gardens is a chemical-free farm located on the west edge of Dayton in Ohio. Every spring, we plant a large vegetable garden: 12 acres in the widest variety we can manage. We try to cover all the garden favorites - from salad greens in spring, to

summer-time tomatoes, autumn's root crops and everything in between. It is our goal to spread delicious, healthy food and good farming practices within our community. The farm began producing vegetables around 2010, and is growing more productive every year as we learn from our experiences. We grow our food without the use of any chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides. Our approach to agriculture favors hard work, diligent cultivation, and the nurturing of a healthy soil biology. Most of what we grow gets distributed directly to our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) members. Each week, these folks receive the lion's share of our harvests through the delivery of a box of produce picked and packed according to what's most-ready in the garden. The CSA runs late May through December and showcases all the variety of foods that we produce. We also contract with local restaurants and keep the shelves full inside our new on-farm retail store Patchwork Produce Market opening in spring 2026. We are proud to be growing great vegetables and are eager to share them. Consider becoming a part of our CSA or visit us at our farm market soon!

Summer is finally here and so are all your favorite summertime fruits and veggies! They’re all here at Patchwork Produce Market and there’s still lots more to come! Just this morning, the first home-grown sweet banana peppers came in from our fields, and we can’t wait to see what’s next. In the meantime, our tables and shelves are already full with the sweetness we crave most from summer’s bounty. We’re open today until 5:30 and Saturdays 9-4.

For the freshest, tastiest fruit around, you gotta come to Patchwork Produce Market! Besides watermelon and cantaloupe, we now have white peaches, white nectarines and plums from South Carolina. The hard-working farmers in our own gardens are keeping us stocked with more of your summertime favorites like fresh spring onions and sugar snap peas. And plants under $9 are still BOGO! Patchwork Produce Market is getting berry excited for summer! Besides fresh cantaloupe, we now have deliciously sweet blueberries and blackberries from South Carolina. More signs of summer are coming in daily from our own gardens too. We have chemical-free head lettuce, garlic scapes and fresh basil to go with all the tomatoes we have on display. Outside the market, the Buy One, Get One Free sale for plants under $9 is still going on! And most hanging baskets are still 3 for $75. We hope to see you soon!

Big news from Patchwork Produce Market! Beginning today, all plants costing $9 or less are Buy One, Get One Free! This includes all veggie starts, like tomatoes and peppers, and flowers like geraniums and marigold and petunia 6-packs. Inside the Market, we have fresh strawberries, peaches, grape tomatoes and coolers full of fresh homegrown greens and so much more. We hope to see you soon!
