It's been 6 months since we've taken a quick break from the ranch. Farmer Curtis had to take the whole week off just to work everyday and make sure everything was good to go.

Up with the roosters this A.M. prepping the final chores and we are on the road for an adventure!

It takes a village to keep the ranch running. Total count right now is 5 cows, 29 pigs, 4 goats, 86 chickens, a bunch of feral barn cats, 2 dogs, and 2 house cats. Thankful for friends and roommates that keep it all going.

Training the new bacon seed recruits on the electric wire, open feeders, and new ni**le location has been a full time job this week 😅

Our November pigs are all spoken for, but send us a message if you want to get on the wait list for the next batch of grow outs heading to freezer camp 🥓

Today we got these 9 piglets integrated and moved to their grow-out pasture. These are the remaining piglets from Frida and Petunia Pants' litters.

Found a praying mantis friend while feeding the coos tonight.

Vanilla has officially stolen all of Pistachios chicks now too, so shes got 17 to raise 🐥

Cute farm fail. Vanilla has been missing for weeks! I only discovered her hiding place 2 days ago...was hoping I had more time to figure out a plan 😆

9 hatched today and 4 more eggs under her....we've relocated them to a safer place than the middle of a pig field....🐣🐤🐥 🐖 😳 😄
